Film is timeless, elegant, raw and romantic. No roll or photo of film is ever the same… Each capture so intentional, felt and real to the very moment of which the shutter closes and immortalises.
In each component of working with this format of photography; film invites you to trust, to surrender and it reminds you of the fruits that come with delayed gratification. Film is slow-made art.
The Vision.
As someone who’s life motto is to “find the sacred in the simple”, I have fallen deeply in-love with the creative process of film and truly relish being able to photograph human beings in their real and unscripted moments.
However, as someone who has had many photo’s captured by other photographers, I know the trust that goes hand in hand with choosing whose our artistic lens you allow to see you. I also know that for many people who book a shoot, there is often a vision and intention behind it… Learning of, listening to and exploring your “why”, when it came to booking can be a special part of this process in co-creating.
The trust you place in me to be able to capture your vision with film is a deep honour and is part of the reason I love to communicate before our time shooting. This connection and conversation helps to ensure we are in alignment and attuned to one another when making the vision come to life.
CREATRIX - CEREMONIAL SHOOT

The Creatrix Ceremonial Shoot’s are an initiation to meet and honour the parts of yourself you’ve been holding back. We begin the shoot with a ceremony that is infused with an individually designed process, often including ceremonial cacao, breath and soft movement to support your body/nervous system to be captured in your truest and wildest self.
Duration: 2 - 2.5hrs.
Location: 1 (2 if close in proximity).
Images: Minimum of 45 images.
All images taken on the 2 film rolls, are given.
Includes a 20 min call to discuss your vision prior to the date of our photoshoot & an optional mood board process. -

FAMILY - MATERNITY - PORTRAIT

Whether you are wanting portrait captures for yourself or your business… Whether you are wanting timeless maternity captures taken to honour the rite of passage that is Matrescence… Or whether you are wanting sacred captures of the season of life you are immersed in as a family… This package is for you.
Duration: 1.5hrs
Location: At home or somewhere special to you.
Images: Minimum of 30 images.
All images taken on the film rolls, are given. You will receive your images back approximately 2 weeks after the shoot. -
